Safety, Vascular Complications and Contraindications We Cover
Dermal fillers carry risks. Radiesse labeling warns that accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause embolization, vessel occlusion, ischemia or infarction. Rare but serious events reported with facial filler include vision impairment, blindness, stroke-like events and skin necrosis.

Dr. Jay Park, MD
Doctor Jay Park is a co-founder of Cosmetic Medical Training. He has been training medical providers on the botulinum toxin and dermal filler injection technique for over 10 years. Dr. Park is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He attended medical school at George Washington University in DC. He was the chief resident at his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC.
