What Is a Microneedling Training Program?
A microneedling training program is structured instruction that takes a licensed professional from the fundamentals of skin and safety to supervised, hands-on treatment practice. Ours combines self-study materials with an in-person training day, and adds PRP and PRF, which practitioners often pair with microneedling in skin-rejuvenation and hair-restoration treatments.
A trainer visits your office or clinic, so you practice in your own treatment room with your own workflow. Most trainees treat 4 to 6 or more models on their training day

Foundations: Skin Anatomy, Indications and Safety

- Knowing when to refer, and documenting each case
- Live Blood Draw & Processing — Build confidence handling PRP and PRF preparation from centrifugation through activation, so every draw is consistent and clinic-ready.

Safety, Risks and Contraindications We Cover
Microneedling and PRP are not risk-free. The program covers, in educational terms:
Risks: redness, swelling, bruising and discomfort; infection when sterile technique fails; prolonged redness, pigment change or scarring; vascular complications in higher-risk facial areas; variable results.
Screening topics: active infection or inflammation at the site, blood disorders or anticoagulant use, active cancer or immunosuppression, pregnancy and breastfeeding, tendency toward keloid scarring, recent isotretinoin use. Final decisions belong to the licensed clinician.
Informed consent: patients should understand the procedure, risks, alternatives, and that aesthetic PRP use is often off-label for the devices involved. Consent forms and documentation guidance are included.

Meet Your Microneedling Trainers and Medical Director
Dr. Jay Park, MD
Doctor Jay Park is a co-founder of Cosmetic Medical Training. He has been training medical providers on the botulinum toxin and dermal filler injection technique for over 10 years. Dr. Park is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He attended medical school at George Washington University in DC. He was the chief resident at his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. He had opened up two medical spas in Florida and has been working as a consultant for start up aesthetic practices throughout the USA.
