Who This Advanced Botox and Dermal Filler Training Is For ?
This advanced training is for licensed healthcare professionals who already inject, or who are ready to move beyond the basic areas, and want supervised, hands-on practice in their own office.
It's a good fit if you are:
- A provider ready to expand your treatment menu. You want to practice advanced Botox and dermal filler areas under a trainer's guidance instead of learning on your own patients.
- A practice owner training your team. You can train with one additional provider for the same price $1,499. and non-medical office staff can join to gain valuable sales knowledge.
- A provider who wants support after training day. You get follow-up support and access to our trainers and medical director
Enrollment is open to physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered nurses. Requirements for who may inject Botox, and under what supervision, vary by state. Check your state board's rules before you begin treating patients.
Dr. Jay Park, MD
Doctor Jay Park is a co-founder of Cosmetic Medical Training. He has been training medical providers on the botulinum toxin and dermal filler injection technique for over 10 years. Dr. Park is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He attended medical school at George Washington University in DC. He was the chief resident at his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. He had opened up two medical spas in Florida and has been working as a consultant for start up aesthetic practices throughout the USA.

Advanced Botox and Dermal Filler Areas You'll Practice
Advanced areas call for a deeper understanding of facial anatomy and careful patient selection. On your training day, you practice the areas below on the models available that day. The areas you inject vary depending on your models. If you have a specific area you want to target, help us find a patient who wants that area treated.
Advanced Botox® areas
- Nasalis: the muscle along the sides of the nose, often linked to "bunny lines."
- Perioral lines: the fine vertical lines around the lips.
- Dimpled chin: a pebbly or dimpled chin texture linked to chin muscle activity.
- Brow lift: adjusting brow position with neuromodulator.
Lower eyelid: the area under the eye. - Marionette lines: the lines that run down from the corners of the mouth.
- And more, depending on your models and your trainer's plan.
Advanced dermal filler areas
- Nasojugal groove: the hollow between the lower eyelid and the cheek.
- Cheek enhancement: restoring volume and contour in the cheeks.
- Frown line: the area between the brows. because it is a higher-risk area for dermal fillers.

Safety, Risks and Patient Selection in Advanced Injections
Advanced treatments are not just more areas. They carry more responsibility. Many advanced areas sit close to blood vessels, nerves, and muscles that affect expression and function, so small differences in assessment, product choice, and placement matter.
What every provider should understand before treating:
- Dermal filler risks. Bruising, swelling, lumps, and infection can occur. Rarely, filler can cause serious complications such as vascular occlusion, a blockage of blood flow.
- Botulinum toxin risks. Bruising and headache can occur. If the product affects nearby muscles, a brow or eyelid may droop or the face may look uneven.
- Patient selection. A good treatment starts with the right patient, a careful consultation, and knowing when not to treat.
How Advanced Botox and Dermal Filler Training Works
Step 1: Register and choose your dates
Register online for $1,499 and give us three dates that work for you. We'll set up the earliest training date possible.
Step 2: Start the online lessons
Get immediate access to the instructional videos, slides, and startup files such as consent forms, before and after care instructions, and business plans. Finish them before your training day. The lessons include instruction for both beginner and advanced injectors.
Step 3: Prepare with our coordinators
Our coordinators help you prepare so you have the supplies, Botox®, and fillers you need on the day.
Step 4: Your training day
Our trainer comes to your office. The day starts with a one-hour Botox and dermal filler review with a live model, followed by hands-on training. Your end time depends on the number of models and your discussion with your trainer. It typically takes 4 to 5 hours.
